Capped at both termini
N-acetyl + C-amide block both peptidase classes.
CAS: 129954-34-3
Acetylated + C-terminally amidated analog of Selank engineered to resist enzymatic degradation, used in research on stress-response, GABAergic neurotransmission, and BDNF expression with extended half-life vs the parent peptide.

N-acetyl + C-amide block both peptidase classes.
Substantially longer than the ~2-3 min parent peptide.
HPLC + MS verified per batch. CoA included.
N-Acetyl Selank is a synthetic derivative of the heptapeptide Selank (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) in which the N-terminus has been acetylated and the C-terminal proline converted to a primary amide. Both modifications block the principal degradation pathways (aminopeptidases at the N-terminus, carboxypeptidases at the C-terminus) that limit native Selank to a ~2-3 minute plasma half-life. Pharmacodynamic activity at GABAergic, serotonergic, and BDNF-expression pathways is preserved; the modifications are pharmacokinetic rather than pharmacological.
