What Is Tesamorelin?
Tesamorelin is a GHRH(1-44) analog with a trans-3-hexenoyl modification at the N-terminus that confers resistance to DPP-IV cleavage. It binds GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs, producing physiologic GH pulses. Studied in HIV-associated visceral adiposity, NAFLD, and cognitive aging research.
