What Is KPV?
KPV is the Lys-Pro-Val C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). The cited KPV study examined PepT1-mediated uptake, inflammatory signaling in cell cultures, and experimental intestinal inflammation in mice. The broader α-MSH review provides parent-peptide context; its findings should not all be attributed to isolated KPV.
